Refund and Cancellation Policy
Version 3 · Updated
This policy explains refunds and cancellation for NetworkLink.EU annual software subscriptions supplied by Angelos Tsavdaris, trading as NetworkLink.EU in Dublin, Ireland. For help, email [email protected].
Read this together with our Terms of Service (User Agreement). For purchases through Paddle, Paddle is the merchant of record and handles payments and refunds under its Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.
Your mandatory consumer rights and any stronger rights under Paddle’s applicable terms remain unaffected. The time limits, review process and upgrade controls below do not prevent you from exercising those rights or contacting Paddle directly. This page does not retrospectively change an agreement you have already accepted.

1. Annual subscriptions and cancellation
Our plans are billed annually, with no monthly billing option and no free trial. The purchase confirmation identifies your plan, annual charge, taxes and renewal date.
You may disable automatic renewal through the subscription-management link in your Paddle email, Paddle’s customer portal, or Paddle buyer support. Check that cancellation is confirmed. If you cannot access your subscription, contact Paddle or email us for assistance.
Cancellation of renewal takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. Cancelling renewal alone leaves paid access available until then, subject to the licence conditions and the proportionate restrictions or termination described in the User Agreement. Canceling renewal is not a refund request and does not itself return a payment.
2. The 14-day refund request window
Submit a refund request within 14 calendar days of the initial purchase, annual renewal payment, or eligible upgrade payment concerned. For upgrade requests submitted through our account controls, eligibility is recorded when the request is submitted; a later review or Paddle decision does not make a timely request late.
Requests are reviewed individually. A request within this window does not guarantee approval, except where a refund is required by applicable law or Paddle’s applicable terms. After this window, we do not offer voluntary refunds for unused subscription time, including a proportional refund of the remaining annual term. Mandatory rights and remedies still apply.
3. Upgrades and their refund amounts
When you upgrade, Paddle calculates the additional charge for the time remaining in the current annual term. The upgrade does not start a new subscription year. You can review the charge before confirming.
Our ordinary upgrade-refund process applies only to the latest paid upgrade on a subscription, while that upgrade remains the current plan change and its 14-day window is open. Refunding it does not make earlier upgrades eligible again. If a later renewal or other change prevents an account request, contact us or Paddle for review.
We request the refund of the eligible upgrade payment, rather than deducting another amount for the days since the upgrade. For example, if the additional upgrade payment was €10 and its refund is approved in full, the refund is €10; it does not increase because time has passed. Paddle confirms the approved amount and applicable tax treatment. Partial refunds may also be approved by Paddle.
4. Repeated upgrade refunds
After one approved upgrade refund in a rolling 12-month period, further upgrade-refund requests require additional NetworkLink.EU administrator review before we submit them to Paddle. A request already being processed may also require review of a further request. We consider the associated customer and account history across licenses; changing an email address does not reset that history.
An approved upgrade refund normally starts a 30-day pause on further upgrades. Contact us if you need an exception; an administrator may approve an individual upgrade. This pause concerns new upgrades, not access to your remaining paid plan or your right to request a legally required refund. Tax-only corrections do not count toward this review threshold or start this pause.
These are controls on our account workflow, not an absolute limit on refunds. They do not bind Paddle’s independent decisions or remove your statutory rights.
5. What happens to your license
An approved upgrade refund that returns any part of the upgrade price, even a partial refund, restores the previous shared AWS-account/Azure-subscription allowance and its renewal price. The normal annual renewal date stays the same. We apply the change after receiving confirmation from Paddle; a pending request alone does not reduce your allowance. If later billing changes make automatic restoration unsafe, we review the affected license and billing instead.
A refund of the initial subscription purchase or an annual renewal payment that returns all or part of the subscription price revokes the related paid license and triggers subscription cancellation. A tax-only refund means Paddle corrects only tax that was charged; it does not return the software price and does not reduce your allowance.
License changes are applied through online license checks. Saved snapshots and registered AWS accounts or Azure subscriptions are not deleted by an allowance reduction. If the combined number of registrations exceeds the restored limit, reduce it to the allowed number before continuing AWS or Azure scans. Previously saved snapshots remain available to view and export under the User Agreement.
6. How to request a refund
- Contact Paddle buyer support or use the support link in your payment receipt. Eligible withdrawal options may also be available in Paddle’s customer portal.
- For an eligible upgrade, you may use the refund option when it is available in your NetworkLink.EU license account page.
- For assistance or a product problem, email [email protected]. Include the purchase email address, order or transaction reference, license ID if available, and a brief description. Do not send card details or passwords.
Paddle confirms whether a refund is approved and processes the payment return. A status such as “waiting for Paddle approval” means the request is still under review. Processing and bank receipt times vary; applicable statutory deadlines remain in force.
If the product is faulty or not as described, contact us for help. The ordinary 14-day voluntary-refund window does not exclude any remedy you have under applicable law. Downloading, activating, registering an account or accepting the User Agreement does not, by itself, establish that you have waived a statutory withdrawal right.
